Dear Yuletide Writer,

Hello! Thank you in advance. I'm so excited to see what you come up with! To start with, some general things I like/dislike:

I love found family, for people making each other better through friendship and love, whether romantic or familial. I'm here for humor and pain, bonus if the story has both. I love genfic a lot, but I'm definitely also here for smut should the mood strike you. While I enjoy some suffering, I'd rather have a story that doesn't feel entirely hopeless, and has, if not an outright happy ending, at least some sense that there's hope that things won't be terrible forever.

I am not interested in noncon or incest (except with Newsflesh).


Newsflesh - Mira Grant: Shaun Mason, Georgia Mason

I love this series so much but I especially love Shaun and George and their wonderful terrible relationship. I'd love to see more pre-Feed stuff of the two of them working together or dealing with their terrible parents or navigating the trials and travails that comes with being in love with your adopted sibling. Teenage awkward figuring things out is delightful.

I also would be into stories of their life post-Blackout, or even post-Coming to You Live. What is their life like in Canada? What story is big enough to pull them out of retirement? How does the world deal with the fact that any subtlety they once had is definitely gone now? And on that note, I'm also a huge sucker for IC fandom stuff. You know there's in-universe RPF about the bloggers. I would love to see some of it, or the arguments about shipping that have little to do with anyone's actual interest in anyone else.

Titans: Dick Grayson

I LOVE the family relationships in this show. I'd dig seeing more of Dick and Bruce, either what we've seen from before only from Bruce's pov or new stuff has they forge their way forward as adults. I love Dick and Donna and their friendship and I want to see more of it, and the way it's changed and shifted and always stayed strong (and never been romantic). Dick mentoring the new kids is EXCELLENT too he just has such strong big brother vibes he can't help himself. Maybe dealing with Gar missing the Doom Patrol? Because it's gotta be rough for him. Also, did Dick ever actually quit his job with the police or did he just sort of stop showing up? What's going on there?

Bonus points for casually bisexual Dick Grayson. Bonus bonus points for Dick/Roy in the past or present.

Elsinore Game: Hamlet, Horatio

WHAT IS THE RIGHT PATH TO GET HAMLET AND HORATIO TO FALL IN LOVE? I NEED TO KNOW! In the graveyard, Hamlet says maybe if he weren't a prince things would be different. Is that a scenario it's possible for Ophelia to generate somehow? Whether or not she succeeds, it'd be cool to see her try.

Or I'd love more about That One Time At Wittenberg, or anything else about their long and deep friendship. Horatio puts up with so much. He deserves good things.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Dr. Noelle Akopian

Dr. Akopian puts up with so much. What's her life like when she's not dealing with Rebecca Bunch? If you're feeling crossovery, I'd love to see a conversation between her and Linda from the Lucifer TV show because man I am not sure who is a worse patient between Rebecca and the actual devil. Dr Akopian is such a great character and she deserves more screen time.

All-New Wolverine: Wade Wilson, Gabby Kinney

DEADPOOL AND HONEY BADGER. THE DREAM TEAM. Let these terrors wreck havoc over the Marvel universe, or have Wade take Gabby on a fourth wall breaking nightmare jaunt. Let them be stupid and cute. Let everyone else regret that they ever met.
