OPEN RP 2.0

Now that I have your attention, this is my new open RP post! Mostly because my old one was getting a little crowded and I want to play ALL THE MASSIVELY COOL PEOPLE on my muse list who I keep not playing/not even giving userpics. So this is the ~experimental zone~ where I try new people and new things.

SO! Here's how it works.

1. Pick one of your characters.
2. Post a comment with an image or a gif or a poem or nothing at all idgaf make me do all the work without inspiration if you want.
3. Put the name of one of my characters or tell me it's my choice.
4. I will respond both with the character of your choice and with someone COMPLETELY NEW AND UNEXPECTED because seriously it's ridiculous how many of these people I haven't used.
5. FUN WILL BE HAD.

Now go forth! Comment! I may be slow as balls on some of these people BUT I WILL PLOD AHEAD. AND EVEN GIVE THEM USERPICS AND SHIT. JUST WATCH ME.

[Wow this is so awkward. Hook isn't moving back at all but he is looking... flummoxed. This is not how interrogations are supposed to go.]

It just seems like you have a lot to get off your chest about this. A lot of feelings you've maybe buried and turned to hatred and anger to hide from. Maybe if you talked it out, you might find a better way to approach this situation.

A better way? [He snarls, then finally sits back.] There's only one way. He needs to hurt.

[Archie is suddenly unbearably calm for someone getting pirate breath all over them.]

Because you're hurting. What's the harm in talking about it? Everyone thinks I'm dead out there. You and Cora aren't gonna let me go when once I give you what you want. You've got nothing to lose.

[unhand]

[Hook looks at him suspiciously.]

What's in it for you? [Besides not getting tortured for the duration of the therapy session.]

I don't see that I have very many options right now. This is what I do. It's what I'm good at. At least I did something right in all of this.

[These are the saddest cricket eyes ever.]

[CHEATING. Hook scoffs.]

I don't give a damn about doing things right. I gave up on that long ago.

[He shifts a little bit, trying to get comfortable. He is never going to get comfortable, but GOD HOW HE TRIES.]

Okay. But was this before Rumplestiltskin killed the woman you loved or did that come before? Where did it start? Think back a bit.

After. I had a code once. Some semblance of honour. But there's no room for that when you're trying to kill the unkillable. [Hook makes a fist with the one hand where he can do that.] So long as he pays, no price is too great.

[Nod nod. We're getting somewhere. He can feel it.] But the whole point of a code is adhering to it, no matter what the circumstances. As horrible as you feel, doesn't it bother you that once you cross that line, you won't be able to be that man again? You said you didn't get peace until you die- is that what you want?

[unhand]

I already crossed that line. [He doesn't answer the bit about what he wants. Of course it's what he wants. He doesn't feel the need to tell this insect.] Code was rot anyway. If I hadn't bothered with it from the start, I'd have killed that crocodile years ago.

But you don't really think that. That's just the pain talking. [Because, really, if Rumplestiltskin hadn't come into your life at all and you and Milah went to Gumdrop Freakin' Meadows, a code would be awesome.] What do you think she'd want from you?

She's dead. She doesn't want anything anymore.

Okay, I want you to imagine that you were the one that died that day. What do you think she would do in your shoes? Just indulge me for a moment. Because I think we're getting somewhere.

[And thus an AU was born...]

...she'd have gone for vengeance too. She never cared for him.

[IT'S AN ENDLESS CYCLE OF VENGEANCE.]

And either way, it wouldn't change who died. How does that make any of it better? How does more pain solve being in pain? Where does it all end?

With Rumplestiltskin dead. [...he's gonna take a lot of work. (unsure)]

Well, I didn't expect a breakthrough with one session.

[unhand]

Session? [OH RIGHT THAT REMINDS HIM. He gets up and moves in close again, bringing his hook up to press against Archie's face in a way that is definitely threatening and not sexual.] This all ends when you tell me Rumplestiltskin's weakness. There will be no sessions.

[THE KEYSMASHING NOISES CONTINUE. YOU WERE DOING SO WELL.] Look! Look. The only thing he's ever spoken to me about is his son. That's... That's all.

[Well, it's a start. Even if it's hardly new information.] Baelfire? What about him?

[wouldbecricket]

He's been trying to reunite with him somehow. [THIS IS BREACHING SO MUCH PATIENT DOCTOR CONFIDENTIALITY. GOLD IS GOING TO MURDER HIM.] He's been working on something to get him over the town line- he doesn't discuss the details. And I don't ask about them. It's not my business.

[unhand]

[WHATEVER ARCHIE YOU GOT YOUR PHD FROM A CURSE.] There's a good little bug. [He slides his hook over the skin, not breaking it at all.] And where would he be working on such a thing? His little shop?

[wouldbecricket]

[STOP TOUCHING HIIIIIIM.] I don't know. Maybe? He could have hundreds of places scattered around town where no one could find him. He owns the town.

[unhand]

[NO MOLESTATION'S REALLY GOOD FOR GETTING ANSWERS.] If you don't know, you're useless to me, and if you're useless? [He leans in really, really close. His breath probably stinks.] I'll squash you, bug.
