Random-Ass Open RP

how to play.

1. Drop a comment with one or more of your muses. It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me. If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too. I make no promises for logic, especially if I don't know the canon.

2. In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone. No muses are off-limits! If the character has no icons yet, I will find icons. Or you can make me pick.

3. just rp with me. if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse. if it doesn't, it doesn't.

[Somehow, Arya has managed to find haven at a Jedi temple, and though she would really like to keep going and get to Winterfell or Riverrun or the Wall, or anywhere her family is... she's reluctantly agreed to stay here until they can figure out a safe way to get her home.

Which doesn't mean she has to sit around doing nothing. Especially when one of the Jedi is the extremely interesting and tough Jaina Solo. Arya wishes Jaina were her sister instead of Sansa. Jaina probably wouldn't go around being all ladylike all the time.

She's sitting on a rock while Jaina works on her space ship.]

Can you teach me how to use the Force?

It's not exactly something you pick up overnight. [ she cranks her hydrospanner, and then takes a moment to wick away some sweat off her brow, looking at the little girl ]

Are you with the Younglings?

Yes. [It's a lie, but that's okay. She's spent time with the Younglings, anyway, that counts, right?] I already know how to use a sword. Though I've never used one made of light.

You wouldn't get one of those off the bat anyways, you know. Somebody could lose a limb that way.

They would not! [Arya says indignantly. She's trained a lot already with a normal sword. The light ones aren't much lighter than Needle, though the weight's all different since it's just the handle. She's pretty sure she could manage, though.] Not unless I meant it, I mean.

That's what they all say. [ it's not dismissive though, and she turns to regard the young girl thoughtfully ] What else can you do?

[What else? She frowns, trying to think of what might impress Jaina.] ...I can eat bugs.

How big are we talking?

The bigger the better! Smaller ones are harder to catch. [And don't fill her up. Not that the big ones fill her up much anyway.]

Maybe not the most marketable skill, but I suppose it might come in handy in an extremely specific... bizarre set of circumstances.

[It's plenty useful when you're starving. Arya looks up hopefully.]

So can you teach me? I can be good and learn!

Even if it doesn't start off all that exciting? There's a whole lotta rock lifting you've gotta master before you start doing Force flips all over the place.
