OPEN RP 2.0

Now that I have your attention, this is my new open RP post! Mostly because my old one was getting a little crowded and I want to play ALL THE MASSIVELY COOL PEOPLE on my muse list who I keep not playing/not even giving userpics. So this is the ~experimental zone~ where I try new people and new things.

SO! Here's how it works.

1. Pick one of your characters.
2. Post a comment with an image or a gif or a poem or nothing at all idgaf make me do all the work without inspiration if you want.
3. Put the name of one of my characters or tell me it's my choice.
4. I will respond both with the character of your choice and with someone COMPLETELY NEW AND UNEXPECTED because seriously it's ridiculous how many of these people I haven't used.
5. FUN WILL BE HAD.

Now go forth! Comment! I may be slow as balls on some of these people BUT I WILL PLOD AHEAD. AND EVEN GIVE THEM USERPICS AND SHIT. JUST WATCH ME.

[It's a start. At the very least, it's somewhere to find him. Killian pulls his hook out of Archie's neck, giving him a disdainful look.] There's a good little bug. There's got to be more, though. The knife can't be it.

[His jugular vein thanks you for that, Hook. Unfortunately, he still has a wrist cramp. He shifts as best he can to try to get rid of it.] Why is this so important?

[Look, if you got everyone together and said "who here has been victimized by Rumpelstiltskin," half the town would raise their hand. And no one tries to kill the guy. It's a thing.]

He took my hand. [And more, but if he just out and said it, he probably wouldn't need a therapist so badly.]

It's not enough? [Because it seems like a damn good reason to him.

[kjsdfklsjdlsk] What exactly do you want me to tell you? Rumplestiltskin does not give out information about himself willingly. He's definitely not the type to come to therapy.

[Archie takes a moment to calm down from his near panic attack.] I understand that he's clearly hurt you. Deeply. Probably more than you'll admit to me. But killing him is not the answer.

[unhand]

Surely you've noticed something. Who he spends his time with. Where he goes. What he cares about. [He clenches his good fist angrily.] Killing him's only the grand finale. First I hurt him.

You're going to hurt another innocent person just to get back at him?

[Let's just talk about this, Hookchans. :c] Over your hand?

[CALLING BULLSHIT.]

[DEFENSIVELY:] What's wrong with that?

It just seems a little extreme. [...Well, it does.]

[Hook snarls and slams his hook into the wall an inch away from Archie's face, then leans in close.] Suppose I forgot to mention the bit where this was moments after he ripped out the heart of the woman I loved.

Yeah, keysmash is the only way to basically describe the sound Archie just made.] That... I can see where you might be upset about that, but killing him will not bring her back. It won't bring you peace.

[LOOK, HE'S A CONSCIENCE. THIS IS WHAT HE DOES.]

[He smiles viciously. And yes, he is still all up in Archie's personal bubble.]

No. I don't get that until I die.

[Archie stammers awkwardly for a few seconds, because wow what is personal space.]

Would you... Do you wanna talk about this?

[Bro, I think you need a suicide hotline and I am a qualified professional.]

[Wow this is so awkward. Hook isn't moving back at all but he is looking... flummoxed. This is not how interrogations are supposed to go.]

...why? What's there to say?

It just seems like you have a lot to get off your chest about this. A lot of feelings you've maybe buried and turned to hatred and anger to hide from. Maybe if you talked it out, you might find a better way to approach this situation.

A better way? [He snarls, then finally sits back.] There's only one way. He needs to hurt.

[Archie is suddenly unbearably calm for someone getting pirate breath all over them.]

Because you're hurting. What's the harm in talking about it? Everyone thinks I'm dead out there. You and Cora aren't gonna let me go when once I give you what you want. You've got nothing to lose.

[Hook looks at him suspiciously.]

What's in it for you? [Besides not getting tortured for the duration of the therapy session.]

I don't see that I have very many options right now. This is what I do. It's what I'm good at. At least I did something right in all of this.

[These are the saddest cricket eyes ever.]

[CHEATING. Hook scoffs.]

I don't give a damn about doing things right. I gave up on that long ago.

[He shifts a little bit, trying to get comfortable. He is never going to get comfortable, but GOD HOW HE TRIES.]

Okay. But was this before Rumplestiltskin killed the woman you loved or did that come before? Where did it start? Think back a bit.

After. I had a code once. Some semblance of honour. But there's no room for that when you're trying to kill the unkillable. [Hook makes a fist with the one hand where he can do that.] So long as he pays, no price is too great.

[Nod nod. We're getting somewhere. He can feel it.] But the whole point of a code is adhering to it, no matter what the circumstances. As horrible as you feel, doesn't it bother you that once you cross that line, you won't be able to be that man again? You said you didn't get peace until you die- is that what you want?

I already crossed that line. [He doesn't answer the bit about what he wants. Of course it's what he wants. He doesn't feel the need to tell this insect.] Code was rot anyway. If I hadn't bothered with it from the start, I'd have killed that crocodile years ago.
